Stegna Beach
Located 32 km south of Rhodes Town and just 500 meters away from the more well-known Archangelos village, Stegna is a quiet seaside resort that has remained a bit secluded and unspoiled. Though there are no luxurious shopping arcades or bustling nightlife, it is a great place for families and anyone looking for calm, away from the noisy crowds of the capital.
Stretching for about 1 kilometer, Stegna is strewn with white sand and pebbles, while the almond and lemon tree groves lining the winding roads that lead down to the beach add to the tranquil ambiance of this beautiful area. The right edge of the beach is more laid-back, while the left part is more well-organized by a nearby hotel. Close to the seafront, there are several rental apartments, as well as taverns offering tasty and authentic Greek dishes at reasonable prices. Water sports facilities for such fun activities as banana boat rides, paragliding, and water skiing are also available, while other popular activities include sunbathing and snorkeling.

Old Town
